Camden Town Street Photography Workshop with Damien Demolder
On Saturday March 21st, ten hardy souls from Ware & District made their way to Camden Town for a days street photography / tuition with Damien Demolder (who has presented at Ware several times). A buzzing part of London, with lots of opportunity for street style image capturing, under Damien's guidance. We started in a simple alleyway, taking photos of each other to see how reflected / direct light lit people in different ways, and how 'brave' you could be with negative exposure compensation to get lovely images of people's faces. We then took that knowledge into the street and various parts of Camden Lock to play and take photos! A great day, in lovely spring weather, with everyone having fun and learning loads!

Dawn Delights at Bushy Park – A Wild Autumn Adventure!
On Saturday 25th October, an intrepid group of early risers gathered at 6:30am in Bushy Park’s main car park, ready to embrace the magic of autumn. And what a morning it was! With golden leaves crunching underfoot and the soft light of dawn filtering through the trees, members were treated to a spectacular display of Red and Fallow Deer in their natural habitat.
As the sun climbed higher, the group made their way to the café for a well-earned late breakfast (or was it an early lunch?), sharing stories and warming up over hot drinks. But the wildlife wonders weren’t over yet—those who lingered a little longer were rewarded with the vibrant flash and chatter of Ring-Necked Parakeets darting through the trees.
A perfect blend of nature, camaraderie, and autumnal charm—thank you to everyone who joined us!

Ware Exhibition 2025
Ware Exhibition 2025, was a fantastic day. We had many visitors, who enjoyed the images on display along with some delicious tea and cake.
Members' Summer BBQ
To mark the end of summer and the beginning of the 2025/2026 programme, Ware & District members gathered for a relaxed and sociable BBQ. Around 20 members and guests came together to enjoy delicious food, friendly conversation, and the welcoming atmosphere of a local venue—graciously organised by one of our own. It was a joy to reconnect, swap stories from the summer break, and share a sausage (or two!) in great company.
